CAL STARS TRYOUTS

The Cal Stars Basketball Club offers three FULL seasons of play for girls 3rd-12th grade. We hold spring and summer tryouts in February and March and our fall teams will tryout in September.

The Cal Stars was founded in 2006 as an exclusive 1-school program. In 2008 the preogram expanded to include any players within the state of California. Today we have over 160 kids participating on 16 club teams within the program.

The Cal Stars are also the ONLY Northern California team to have an Adidas Grassroots National Sponsorship. The Stars are one of 25 teams nationally to have this prestigious sponsorship.

Our tryout dates and times will be posted soon. If you are interested in trying out for one of our ten youth teams or six high school teams, please contact Club Director Kelly Sopak (ksopak@comcast.net) for more information.

4th-5th graders: 12:00-1:15

6th-7th graders: 1:15-2:45

8th grade: 2:45-4:00

4th-5th graders: 5:00-6:00 (Subject to change)

6th-7th graders: 6:00-7:30 (Subject to change)

8th grade: 7:30-9:00 (Subject to change)

*All High School tryouts at Nor Cal Courts (Martinez, CA) & Bentley High School (Lafayette, CA)

If your high school team is still playing (post-season) you are not allowed to participate in tryouts. Please complete the registration form and attend/observe one or more of the tryouts.
