Cal Stars Basketball

Tricia Reyes joined the Cal Stars program more than three years ago with her husband Ra. Together the two began coaching the fourth grade MVP Flight team and the fifth grade tournament team.

Both have shared in the excitement of winning league championships and earning tournament titles. Last year, the Cal Stars High School Blue Team and the fifth grade traveling team were champions at the 2010 Jam on It Tournament in Reno.  

In addition to coaching for the Cal Stars, Tricia is also the head coach of the girls' junior varsity at Miramonte High School in Orinda. This year, Coach Trish completed her second season with the Matadors after beginning her high school coaching career in 2006 at Northgate High School in Walnut Creek.  

With an all-freshman team this year, Tricia prepared the Matador youngsters for the tough competition of playing against JV squads in the DFAL. 

Coach Trish is dedicated to giving girls the opportunity to make a difference in their lives, and to be leaders in their communities. She is excited to be part of the Cal Stars program this year and anticipates an exceptional season.
