Cal Stars Basketball

Below is a list of the major tournaments the Cal Stars will participate in during the 2010 season. You can click on the logo and you will be redirected the tournament website. See note below for tournament info:

Tournament Organization: Each tournament is run by a different club and is therefore set-up slightly different each time. However, the following will be consistent:

• 3 games total for the weekend (typically 2 on Sat and 1 on Sun but can be vice versa)
• Game times are anytime between 8a-8p, so please keep schedules open during the weekend.
• Tournament Directors are required to get us brackets by Thursday evening, at which time I will review carefully and then send out via email and post to our website your known game information (if we get earlier, we will share earlier).

Please note: Often we only know the time of the first game and it will depend on win or lose when the second game will be, so please be flexible. Also, there may be changes beyond any one's control after games are first posted. If there is a change, we will send an email, alert your coach and ask that we all work together to communicate. It is important that you leave communication with the tournament director to me (to not create any confusion for them) or rely on what they post to their websites but what we share with you.

EOT SHOOOTOUT YOUTH DIVISION 2010
This tournament is set up for younger club teams to play in a competitive and fun tournament with awards and trophies for each grade level.

DATES: June 25-June 28, 2010
COST: $450
SITE GYMS: Oregon City High Schools, Clackamas Community College, Canby HS, Gardiner MS

GRADES:  

                 Class of 2014 (current 8th graders)   

                 Class of 2015 (current 7th graders and below)

EOT Basketball produces some of the most competitive and prestigious girls basketball tournaments in the country.

The EOT events are certified by the NCAA as recruiting tournaments for high school basketball players. Literally hundreds of Division I, II, and III NCAA basketball coaches as well as coaches from all levels of Junior Colleges to NAIA come to these events. Games are STOP CLOCK 16-minute halves.

The Cal Stars will normally send 1 team to the EOT Shootout (Last week of June) and two teams to the All Star Shootout (1st week of July).
