High School Elite 2014 and 7th Grade Premier Coach
Coach Elgin is beginning his second year with the Cal Stars. Elgin guided the 2011, High School Elite 2014 team through a great season. The team went 30 -10, winning several tournament championships and finishing 3rd place or higher in almost every tournament entered.
Coach Elgin is the current head coach at Campolindo High School. Prior to coaching at Campo, Elgin was at Carondelet High School where he spent ten years coaching at all levels. While at Carondelet Elgin assisted on Varsity teams that won the 2004 California State Championship, Three Northern California Championships, and seven North Coast Championships.
A former college basketball player, he freely admits that younger sister Lisa Leslie got the looks and the talent in the family. Elgin is a 5th grade teacher, and is married to his wife Michele and live with their two children in Concord.
