Cal Stars Basketball

Clay is the girls’ varsity coach at the Bentley School, and has also been the head coach at Campolindo and Monte Vista (back in the dark ages). He was a long-time assistant at Campolindo and Acalanes and was involved in three state championship teams. He writes extensively about women’s basketball for a variety of publications, and has written a book – “Girls’ Basketball: Building a Winning Program” – that is available on-line and in finer bookstores. He is the only Northern California representative on the McDonald’s All-American Game selection committee, does the national girls' basketball rankings for MaxPreps and also votes for the collegiate Wooden and Naismith awards, and the all-WNBA teams.
