Cal Stars Basketball

 A record five Cal Star teams played for tournament championships at the Pacific District Jam Festival in San Francisco and Vallejo. The 6th Grade Red, 7th Grade Blue, Blue High School, White High School and Red High School all played in Championship games on Sunday.

In the end the Blue High School team was the only one to come away with the win. Coach Ra and Coach Tricia led their team to victory with an 8 point win after a hard fought battle. Both 6th Red and 7th Blue lost close games in the Championship to end up a very respectable 2nd place. The Red and White High School teams both dropped games against tough opponents to also capture 2nd place. The 5th Red ended 1 and 2 but played up in the 6th grade for the weekend.

We had FIVE teams take home trophies and medals this weekend. That is a great accomplishment for these teams. Congratulations for a job well done by all teams. Keep it up this week.
